ACF Fiorentina announced that Fabio Grosso is their new head coach of the club’s first team.
Born in Rome on November 28, 1977, Grosso began his coaching career in 2013 in the youth sector of Juventus FC.

His debut as a first-team manager came in 2017 on the bench of SSC Bari in Serie B. During his career, the new Fiorentina coach has also managed, among others, Olympique Lyonnais, Frosinone Calcio, and US Sassuolo Calcio, achieving two promotions from Serie B to Serie A and, during last season with Sassuolo, leading the newly promoted side to 11th place in the league standings.
A statement said ‘Everyone at Fiorentina is delighted to warmly welcome a World Cup champion and a coach who brings expertise, fresh ideas, and enthusiasm: welcome, Coach Fabio Grosso!’
The new Fiorentina manager has signed a contract until June 30, 2028.
