Atalanta have officially confirmed that Brazilian midfielder Ederson has signed a new five-year contract with the club.
The 27-year-old has strengthened his long-term commitment to the Bergamo side after four highly successful seasons in the black-and-blue shirt.
Ederson joined Atalanta ahead of the 2022–23 campaign and quickly established himself as one of the team’s most important players, earning recognition for his technical quality, physical presence and consistency in midfield.
During his first four years with the club, he made 180 appearances in all competitions, scoring 16 goals and providing six assists.

He also played a major role in Atalanta’s historic Europa League triumph in May 2024, helping the club secure one of the greatest achievements in its history.
His performances in Serie A and European competition also earned him a place in the Brazil national team, with the midfielder featuring at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Atalanta’s owners, sporting department and club management welcomed the renewal and wished Ederson further success as he continues his career in Bergamo.
The agreement represents another important piece of business for Atalanta, who have secured the future of one of their most influential players for the next five years.
