Renato Sanches, the once highly touted Portuguese talent, appears poised to bid adieu to PSG this summer and reunite with compatriot Jose Mourinho at Roma.

The Portuguese footballer had a successful stint at Lille before making the switch to PSG.

However, due to fierce competition for the midfield position, Sanches found it challenging to secure a spot in the starting lineup, paving the way for a potential move to Serie A.

As reported by “La Gazzetta dello Sport” PSG and Roma have reached an agreement for a one-year loan deal with an obligatory purchase option at the conclusion of the season. It is believed that Mourinho himself was insistent on securing Sanches’ services.

Should the transfer materialize, Renato Sanches would become the third major addition to “La Lupa” this summer, following the arrivals of Evan Ndicka and Houssem Aouar. The move is set to add significant depth and talent to Roma’s midfield as they prepare for the upcoming season.
