Rummenigge advises Vlahovic to stay in Fiorentina: "Don't chase money"

Former Bayern official Karl-Heinz Rummenigge spoke out after Vlahovic equaled Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for the number of goals in one year in Serie A.
The young Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic entered the history of Serie A with a goal in the 51st minute of the game against Sassuolo. Namely, since 1960, only he and Cristiano Ronaldo have such a goal-scoring score in a calendar year.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge publicly advised Vlahovic to reject all offers on the table and to stay in Florence.

  • Vlahovic is very young and has already scored many goals. My advice to him is to stay at Fiorentina and not chase after money at a time when he is just over 20 years old. He plays in a strong and interesting team, I would have been in that club for some time if I were in his place, said Rummenigge.
  • He can become powerful. President Commiso has no problem with money and wants to make a great team. Fiorentina’s project is serious and I hope that Vlahovic and his managers will find the best solution for everyone, Rummenigge added.

The Portuguese has a chance to overtake on Wednesday when Fiorentina will play against Verona away.
