PROBLEM FOR PORTUGAL: Ronaldo missed team training!

Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo did not participate in Portugal’s collective training today, two days before the match against South Korea at the World Cup in Qatar.

Referring to the sources of the Portugal football federation, the agency “France Presse” stated that Ronaldo had “some specific exercises”.

Two days after the victory against Uruguay (2:0) by which Portugal qualified for the round of 16 of the World Cup, Ronaldo’s place was taken by Gonzalo Ramos at training.

If Ronaldo is unavailable against South Korea, Andre Silva or Rafael Leao could get a chance to play in that match.

Despite his departure from Manchester United and disagreements with that club, which were reported by the media, Ronaldo (37) started the World Cup well, scoring a penalty against Ghana in the first match of the World Cup (3:2).

Ronaldo also became the first footballer to score at least one goal in five different World Cups.
