Robert Lewandowski, according to the list of the best football players, which was published by the respected English newspaper Guardian, was chosen as the best football player in the world.
Lewandowski becomes the first player to retain first place since Lionel Messi in 2013. And that is no surprise – his feats for scoring continue to defy logic.
For the second year in a row, Lewandowski manages to hold the position of the best football player in the world, while Luka Modric, who was chosen the best football player of the year in 2018 according to the list of the best football players made by the English Guardian, is only 40th this year.
While the second player in the world of their choice, the winner of the Golden Ball is Lionel Messi, and in third place was Mohamed Salah.
Dusan Tadic was recently named the best Serbian football player in 2021, and he was in 89th place on this list.
“Tadic’s career will once again be at its peak at the end of 2022 when he will represent Serbia at the World Cup at the age of 34. He scored one of the goals that took Serbia to the World Cup that dramatic night in Lisbon last month, thus crowning another year. Tadic is not showing signs of aging, although he should be at the end of his career,” the Guardian explained.
Dusan Vlahovic was only in 57th place, although he had a season behind him in which he equaled the record of Cristiano Ronaldo and in which he is the best player in Serie A.
“He is a striker who is wanted this season, especially if your finances have survived the crown virus. The Serb is 21 years old and seems to have everything. He came to Fiorentina from Partizan in 2018, and he has not stopped scoring goals since last December. At the time of writing, he has scored 43 goals for the club and the national team in the past 12 months, “the Guardian said in a statement.
