REFEREES' STRIKE IN SPAIN: Is La Liga suspended?

The Spanish Football Federation could face a big problem after referees are close to deciding to go on strike due to verbal and physical attacks that have become more frequent recently.

The last straw was the last physical attack on the referee Antonio Pozo in the match between the young teams of Polilas and Calavera.

The Spanish Football Federation condemned the attack and called for action to stop frequent criticism of referees in this country.

It didn’t take long, so the director of Valencia, Javier Solís, only a day later blamed the referees for the defeat of the “Bats” against Sevilla.

Due to all the happenings in Spanish football, they are close to the decision to go on strike which would create big problems for the football association there.

If that happens, the Spanish football championships must be suspended until the leaders find an adequate solution.
