Real Madrid is reportedly contemplating the possibility of making a move for Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane. The English striker’s future at Spurs has been uncertain, with the club facing challenges on and off the pitch, including their qualification for the Europa Conference League and the absence of a permanent head coach and sporting director.
Kane’s contract with Tottenham is set to expire in 2024, and with the club unlikely to secure Champions League football in the near future, it appears increasingly unlikely that the record-breaking goalscorer will sign a contract extension. However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is known for his reluctance to sell to Premier League rivals, which complicates matters.
While Manchester United has been mentioned as a potential destination for Kane, there may be an opportunity for the 29-year-old to continue his career in Spain. According to Cadena Ser, an intermediary has contacted Real Madrid to gauge their interest in the England captain.

Real Madrid will eventually need to find a replacement for Karim Benzema, but earlier reports suggested that the club was hesitant to make big-money signings this summer. The pursuit of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, who comes with a hefty price tag, may also affect the chances of Real Madrid pursuing Kane. However, there is speculation that Eden Hazard could be included as part of a potential deal, despite his previous statements about being settled in Madrid until 2024.

Hazard, who has found himself on the fringes of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, previously spent seven successful years in London with Chelsea before joining Real Madrid. It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will pursue Kane or explore other options to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
