Wilfried Zaha and a famous rapper bought a club in England

Crystal Palace striker Wilfried Zaha and rapper Stormzy have agreed to buy AFC Croydon from England.

This club competes in the ninth tier of competition on the island.

Zaha and Stormzy grew up together in South London and decided to buy the club they grew up with.

In the purchase of Croydon, Dano Young, a former sports employee of Crystal Palace, joins them.

“The sale of the club needs to go through state procedures and approval, but the trio who intend to buy the club are looking forward to the development of the club and the community and new opportunities for everyone. And they hope that the whole community is looking forward to this change,” added the club’s announcement.

AFC Croydon was formed in 2012 after Croydon Athletic disbanded.
