Chelsea coach Graham Potter spoke to the media after Arsenal defeated his team in the city derby with a score of 0:1.
Chelsea players were defeated by Arsenal at Stamford Bridge with a score of 0:1. That was even the third consecutive defeat of the Blues against the Gunners at their stadium.
“We played against a very good team, they are at the top of the table and they are very confident. My boys did their best, they finished the game completely out of breath. In general, Arsenal deserved to win, they were better, but the way we conceded that goal is disappointing,’ said Graham Potter.
“For sure we lack some quality. With effort, which was undoubtedly present, but today a better opponent won. This defeat shows us where we are at the moment, and what we need to improve in our game. Arsenal is in a great situation, Arteta jumped the team as he wanted and they played great. I congratulate them on their victory,’ finished Potter.
Chelsea will play their next match in the EFL Cup, against Manchester City at the Etihad.
