Milan coach Stefano Pioli was disappointed after his team’s Italian Super Cup loss to Inter.
Inter won 3:0 with goals from Dimarko, Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez.
“We didn’t do enough to win. Especially in the first half, we were not up to the task. We made many mistakes and it was difficult to turn the situation around. “We tried at the beginning of the second half, but we didn’t do enough to deserve more,” said Pioli.
Milan is clearly in crisis, as the coach himself admits.
“It is clear that we are not in the best period, but we have to do better and more. This defeat hurts, but there is only one way to come back. And that is to work better and harder”, said the coach of Milan.
In the next round, Milan will play against Lazio on January 24 in the 19th round of Serie A.
