Manchester City Football Club has confirmed that Pep will coach Kalvin Phillips, a former Leeds player, who signed contract with club from Etihad!
After agreeing personal terms and passing medical examinations, this 26-year-old English footballer left Leeds, where he started his career, and signed a six-year contract with City.
City did not provide financial details, and the British media state that the transfer is worth between 45 and 50 million pounds.

He pointed out that he is happy to work with coach Pep Guardiola and to be able to learn from him and his coaching staff.

During eight seasons at Elland Road, Phillips played 234 games and registered 14 goals and assists.
Phillips should fill the void left by Fernandinho who left the club this summer after nine years.
