The transfer of defender Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon to Tottenham was surprisingly stopped by the Portuguese club, reports ‘The Athletic’.
Although everything was agreed between the clubs, Pedro was told by Sporting that he will play the last match in the green and white jersey this weekend, he said goodbye to the fans, but today his transfer was suddenly stopped.
Namely, Sporting decided to change certain details in the documents that they and Tottenham should sign and for now the transfer of 45 million euros “stands still”.
Tottenham will now have to consider Sporting’s new proposals, and after that, we will see if Porro’s transfer will happen at all.
