The owner of Newcastle takes over Inter

The public investment fund (PIF) from Saudi Arabia, the owner of Newcastle, will take over the football club Inter, the American financial media report.

The Arabs will pay as much as a billion dollars for a portion of the shares. This will not be the first football investment of this fund, because, as we have already mentioned, in October this year, they bought the Newcastle football club for 300 million euros.

Inter have huge financial problems and this is the only solution for them at the moment.

In the previous season 2020/2021, in which the Scudeto was won, a loss of as much as 320 million was realized, and currently the club records a loss of 15 million dollars every month.

However, that did not affect the results too much since Inter is the leader in Serie A, and the placement in the eighth finals of the Champions League was achieved.

With the change of ownership, Inter will become the richest club in the world, ahead of Newcastle.
