Nottingham Forest bring player from Newcastle!

The Nottingham Forest football club is attempting to sign Newcastle striker Chris Wood on loan until the end of the season, according to British media.

If the clubs come to an agreement, the footballer from New Zealand could already play for Nottingham Forest on Saturday against Bournemouth, the BBC reported.

Wood was one of the most important players for Newcastle, which managed to fight for survival in the Premier League last season. He played 18 games for the Black and Whites this season, but was only a starter in four.

He came to Newcastle a year ago from Burnley for 25 million pounds.

Forest are currently 13th in the table, five points off the relegation zone. The team scored only 15 goals in 19 games this season, which is the second-worst offense in the league.
