Newcastle prepared 67 million euros for Darwin Nunez

Newcastle was the most anticipated team of the January football deadline, as it was known that they would change owners and thus have the opportunity to spend money.

More precisely, 230 million euros are ready now, in order to respect financial fair play.

And while a lot is being written about the arrival of Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid, another big transfer is mentioned today.

Namely, Newcastle is looking for a striker, someone who could solve the problems of inefficiency, and according to the Portuguese media, it could be the 22-year-old Benfica football player, Darwin Nunez.

The footballer is followed by Atletico Madrid and Manchester City, and Benfica could ask for as much as 67 million euros for him.

Darwin Nunez, who is a member of the Uruguayan national team, has scored 13 goals in 13 games this season.
