Cameroonian international Nathan Ngoumou has joined French club Nice from Borussia Mönchengladbach, returning to Ligue 1 four years after leaving France.
The transfer was officially completed on Monday, August 17, with the versatile forward hoping to restart his career after an injury-hit 2025/26 season. Ngoumou suffered an Achilles tendon injury but has now recovered and says he is ready to return to action.
The 26-year-old expressed his excitement about joining Nice, saying he was impressed by his discussions with the club’s management and coach and felt their confidence in him played an important role in his decision.
Ngoumou will now look to make an immediate impact as Nice begin their new Ligue 1 campaign.
