Nadur Youngsters are the winners of the BOV GFA Cup beating Kercem Ajax 3-0 in the final.
Nadur started the game with great intensity and took the early lead just after 2 minutes through a goal by Ian Xuereb. Nadur went into the break with a 2-0 lead through Brandon Said’s strike in the 21st minute. Gabriel Olimpio added Nadur’s third in the 55th minute to seal the game with a 3-0 win for the Youngsters
Charmaine Borg, manager of Bank of Valletta’s Gozo Branch and Dr Samuel Azzopardi, President of the Gozo Football Association presented the BOV GFA Cup to Nadur’s captain after the final whistle. Celebrations erupted as the team and supporters celebrated another remarkable achievement in their storied legacy.
