The celebrated football coach Jose Mourinho is on the verge of signing a new contract with the Roma team, Italian media reports.
Mourinho arrived at Roma in 2021, and his contract with the “Wolf” expires at the end of the season. In the 2021/22 season, he won the Conference League with Roma.
“Mourinho enjoys Rome, mostly because of the love shown to him by fans and players. That’s why he wants to put pressure on the club’s leaders to extend his contract, because he feels he has unfinished business with this team.” it is stated in the Italian “Il Tempo”.
At the end of the previous season, the Portuguese was dissatisfied with the situation in the club due to inadequate reinforcements, but in the meantime he changed his mind.
Before Roma, he managed Tottenham, Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter, Porto and Leiria.
Roma is currently in seventh place in Serie A with 18 points from 12 games.
