Roma coach Jose Mourinho was not in the mood to talk to the press after a convincing defeat by Inter (3:0), so he only held a short monologue.
“I apologize to the studio, to the people at home who might be interested in your questions, but I will not answer them tonight,” said Mourinho, and continued about the match itself:
“Inter is stronger than us even when we are in the full squad, and tonight we were weakened due to injuries of some players. Last season, Inter had 29 points more than Roma and today it was quite difficult for us to play in this lineup. “Abraham and Karsdorp have been suspended, El Shaarawy, Pellegrini and Spinazzola have been injured, and Afena-Gyan is positive for coronavirus.”
After the second consecutive defeat, Roma is in fifth place.
