The summer transfer window continues to gather pace, with several Premier League clubs involved in negotiations both for potential arrivals and departures.
Galatasaray make Martinelli approach
Galatasaray have made a €45 million (£38.4m) offer for Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli. The 25-year-old Brazilian is attracting interest from the Turkish champions as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
Arsenal are also reportedly willing to consider offers for midfielder Martin Zubimendi. The Spain international could leave for a fee of at least £77 million, with Chelsea among the clubs monitoring his situation.
Newcastle target Dedić and Baleba
Newcastle United are pushing ahead with talks for Amar Dedić, with Benfica valuing the 23-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international at around £25 million.
The Magpies are also interested in Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba as they consider options to strengthen their midfield. The Cameroon international has emerged as a potential target as Newcastle prepare for changes in that area of the squad.
Meanwhile, Newcastle midfielder Joe Willock is reportedly open to a move to Turkish side Beşiktaş, with a fee of around €20 million (£17m) potentially enough to secure his transfer.
Aston Villa explore defensive and midfield options
Aston Villa have held talks with West Ham over a possible move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The 28-year-old right-back is valued at approximately £25 million.
Villa have also offered Bayern Munich a loan deal with an option to buy for midfielder João Palhinha. However, the German club would reportedly prefer a permanent transfer for the 31-year-old Portugal international.
Other Premier League and EFL deals
Ipswich Town are closing in on Abdoul Ouattara, a 20-year-old Ivory Coast-born right-back and midfielder from Strasbourg.
Hull City remain confident of completing a deal for Augsburg midfielder Mert Kömür, despite having an initial £10.2 million offer rejected.
The Tigers are also close to bringing back Joe Gelhardt from Leeds United on a permanent basis after the striker spent the previous two seasons on loan at Hull.
In the Championship, Preston, Millwall and Stoke City are interested in Hull right-back Cody Drameh, while Derby County are negotiating with West Bromwich Albion for midfielder Alex Mowatt. Derby also remain interested in Southampton forward Ben Brereton Díaz.
Manchester City defender Max Alleyne is expected to join Burnley on a season-long loan after impressing during his spell with Watford last season.
Birmingham City are targeting Bristol City midfielder Max Bird, while Nottingham Forest are reportedly ahead of Norwich City in the race to sign Swedish-born twins Joseph and Jubilee Ntege, who impressed for Reading’s Under-18 side last season.
Benfica eye Southampton defender
Portuguese giants Benfica have reportedly shown interest in Taylor Harwood-Bellis, with the Southampton defender and former England international attracting attention as the transfer window enters its final stages.
