Manchester United through penalties to the final at Wembley

Manchester City and Manchester United will play in the final of this season’s edition of the FA Cup.

After City defeated Sheffield yesterday in the semi-finals (3:0), United won tonight against Brighton after a penalty – 7:6.

After 120 minutes of fighting at the iconic “Wembley“, there were no goals.

The tragedy for the “seagulls”, who were on the threshold of the first final of the oldest football competition in the world after the long-ago year 1983, was Jesu March, who missed a penalty in the seventh series.

Both teams had their chances in regular time (McAllister, Ensiso – Bruno, Eriksen), while United was more dangerous in extra time (Sabitzer, Rashford).

Since there were no goals, there was a shootout where everyone was accurate except for March, who shot it over the goal.

The FA Cup final is on June 3 at Wembley.
