Manchester United Set Sights on Tottenham's Harry Kane

As the summer transfer window approaches, Manchester United has its sights set on Tottenham’s star striker and England captain, Harry Kane. Kane is entering the final year of his contract, and it is clear he will not extend his cooperation with the current club.

Tottenham’s inability to win a trophy is the main reason for the split in cooperation, and this summer the club is forced to lower the price and try to make money on the transfer. United tried to bring in an experienced striker two years ago, but the price was too high. Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy demanded €160,000,000 for Kane, which led to talks of Manchester City acquiring the striker, but that deal fell through.

Eric ten Hag, the United manager, is very interested in bringing the Premier League’s second-best scorer to Old Trafford. According to English media reports, Ten Haag is ready to offer Kane a salary of 18 million euros per season, and to achieve this, he will reduce the contract of David De Gea, who has been a free agent since the summer.

Kane has been with Tottenham since the beginning of his career and has played 429 games, scoring 274 goals with 63 assists. He has been the top scorer of the Premier League three times, but he has not won a single trophy with Tottenham.

If United succeeds in bringing in Kane, it would be a significant addition to their attacking force, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham will lower their price and allow Kane to leave this summer.
