This has arguably been one of the best international windows in terms of commitment and trust towards local match officials.
One further appointment and a significant one too, as a team of local match officials, a total of four have been selected for the Denmark v Faroe Islands senior team international friendly.
The match at the Brøndby Stadion kicks off at 20:15 and has been assigned to FIFA badge referee Philip Farrugia, with Duncan Sultana and Jurgen Spiteri assigned as Assistant Referees, whereas Trustin Farrugia Cann will act as fourth official.
In this match, the Video Assistant Referee will also be operating, therefore further experience and knowledge in the use of VAR for our local match officials entrusted to officiate the 90 minutes ahead in the Northern European country.
This match will serve as preparation for Denmark in their runup to the highly anticipated European Championship, EURO 2024 this summer in Germany.
