Hamrun Spartans goalkeeper Henry Bonello has been awarded the LifeStar Most Valuable Player for April, following a series of outstanding performances.
Throughout the month, Bonello featured in five Top Six fixtures, where he kept an impressive four clean sheets — against Birkirkara, Mosta, Floriana, and Marsaxlokk. His commanding presence between the posts earned him the MVP title in the Matchday 30 stalemate against Floriana and saw him selected twice in the Team of the Week during April.
This accolade recognises Bonello’s consistency and excellence during a crucial stage of the season.
The award was presented to Bonello on Monday by LifeStar Insurance representative Chris Chetcuti, ahead of Hamrun Spartans’ semi-final clash with Floriana.
