Ħamrun Spartans have announced the return of Croatian midfielder Ante Ćorić as they continue strengthening their squad.
Ćorić, who has had an impressive career and previously played for Dinamo Zagreb and Roma, was signed by the Spartans last season. Although he initially struggled to reach his best physical condition, he became an important player in Modica’s midfield.
He made 22 appearances, scored two goals, and provided one assist and left the club in the January tranfer window.
This signing adds more strength to Ħamrun’s midfield following the arrivals of Jake Grech and Jack Ipalibo, who join Matthew Guillaumier, Matias Garcia and Eder Bruno, all good options for the central positions.
