After reaching an agreement with ex Hibernians forward Lucas Villela, Ħamrun Spartans have signed Liberian striker Emmanuel Ernest, adding an imposing centre-forward to their attacking options.
The 25-year-old, who stands at 1.86m tall, was born in Monrovia and came through the youth ranks at Christ Ambassador Sporting Academy before embarking on a professional career.
His most recent spell was at Albanian top-flight side KF Tirana, where he made eight league appearances during the 2025/26 season.
Ernest has also represented Liberia at international level, earning six caps for the national side since making his debut in September 2024.
The right-footed forward brings experience of playing in Albania to Ħamrun Spartans and will be looking to make his mark in the Maltese Premier League.
