Gżira United have signed Argentine attacking midfielder Jonathan Farías, who brings a wealth of experience from across South America and Europe.
The 28-year-old came through the youth ranks at Boca Juniors before beginning his professional career at Aldosivi in Argentina. He went on to have spells at Cercle Brugge in Belgium, Defensa y Justicia, Agropecuario and Deportivo Español before heading to Peru with Santos FC.
Farías is a right-footed midfielder who can play both in a central and attacking midfield role.
The Buenos Aires-born player becomes the latest addition to the Gżira United squad as the club continues to strengthen ahead of the new season.
