Valletta FC are expected to strengthen their defence with the signing of experienced Bosnian international Ermin Bičakčić.
The 36-year-old centre-back is set to bring a wealth of experience to the Citizens, having spent much of his career in Germany. He has represented clubs including VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht Braunschweig and TSG Hoffenheim, making more than 200 Bundesliga appearances.

On the international stage, Bičakčić has earned over 40 caps for Bosnia and Herzegovina and was part of the squad that competed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the nation’s first appearance at the tournament.
Known for his aerial strength, leadership and defensive organisation, Bičakčić would represent a significant addition to Valletta’s back line as the club continues to build a competitive squad ahead of the new season.
The move is expected to be finalised in the coming days, although an official announcement from the club has yet to be made.
