Several Maltese clubs are understood to be monitoring the situation of Saliou Thioune, with the former Ħamrun Spartans forward attracting interest ahead of the new campaign.
The 22-year-old attacker had a short but notable spell with Ħamrun Spartans last season, joining the club in the summer before departing last January. During his time with the Spartans, Thioune scored 5 goals in 27 appearances for Ħamrun, giving local followers a clear glimpse of his attacking qualities.
