Premier Performance Goalkeeping Academy managed by Matthew Towns have just organized the seventh training camp for young goalkeepers. This training camp which lasted five days, was joined by former Manchester United and Northern Ireland goalkeeper Roy Carroll and former Chelsea goalkeeper David Smalley who is also part of the Academy joined Asmir Begovic.
The participating goalkeepers also had sessions with the Strength and Conditioning coach Nigel McCarthy, nutritionist Dorianne Caruana Bonnici, sports psychologist Adele Muscat and the coaches of the local goalkeepers Janice Xuereb and David Cassar.
A total of 22 goalkeepers took part and continued to strengthen their skills in this important role in football.
