Malta Under 21 squad named ahead of Moldova friendly

Davide Mazzotta has announced a 31 player squad for the upcoming Malta national under-21 football team training camp scheduled to take place across late May and early June.

The training camp forms part of the team’s ongoing preparations as the coaching staff continue working on player integration and squad development ahead of future international commitments.

As part of the programme, Malta Under 21 will also play an international friendly match away from home against Moldova national under-21 football team on 4 June 2026.

The match will be held at the Municipality Stadium, with kick off scheduled for 18:00 CET.

The fixture will provide the Maltese side with another opportunity to gain international experience while allowing Mazzotta and his staff to continue evaluating players following the conclusion of the domestic football season.

The selected squad also includes five players currently playing abroad in England, Italy and the United States.
