In yet another disappointing display, the Maltese U21 National team was defeated 5-0 at home by Scotland.
The Scots were ahead 3-0 within 17 minutes, thanks to an own goal from Hibernians’ Matthew Ellul, and strikes from Dane Murray and Josh Mulligan.
Lennon Miller and Lewin Neilson added goals in the 56th and 82nd minutes to complete Scotland’s 5-0 triumph.
Malta now stands at the bottom of the table in Group B, having failed to secure any points from 8 matches.
