Għaxaq Wolves kept their momentum in the MAFA First Division as they registered their third consecutive win after beating San Ġiljan Saints 2-1.
It was a very intense game with San Ġiljan who started so well that they surged ahead but with Għaxaq who managed to turn the result in their favour and eventually take the final three points.
It was Sam Whelan who after only four minutes of play put the Saints on top although the Wolves reacted immediately and three minutes later they equalized the score through Diego Fernando Galvis Ovallos.
The Wolves scored the winning goal through Diego Fernando Pereira.

Balluta Barracudas got their second consecutive win after beating Ta’ Giorni Wanderers 4-0. As no goal was scored in the first half, the Cudas came out very aggressive and scored four goals without reply.
Timmy Zammit Lupi put Balluta ahead in the 40th minute so Paco Vassallo scored the second goal six minutes later. In the 53rd minute, Andrew Tortell made it three so that on injury time, Ruslan Borg combined the poker for the winners.

In the second division, Ħamrun Amateurs got their first win of the season after beating Ħal Far Titans 1-0.
The goal that decided the game was scored seven minutes from the end of the match through Andriy Camilleri.
For Ħal Far Titans this is the third loss from as many games and they are still looking for the first points of the season.

Attard Edex Kings broke their duck as they turned a defeat into victory to win 2-1 against Gudja Wanderers.
Timothy Portelli put Gudja on top until Luca Camilleri restored parity for Attard. On 53 minutes, Miguel Acevedo gave the most important points for Attard Edex Kings.

In the third division, Mosta Vikings got their first win of the season after beating St Paul’s Bay NMFC 3-1.
The first half was an interesting one as the Vikings took control of the game and scored three goals through Karl Kurt Muscat, Darren Bartoli and Nigel Schembri Zammit.
In the second half, St Paul’s Bay NMFC started to press in search of goal and managed to reduce the score in the 65th minute through Sonam Gurung.
