Hibernians Football Academy’s Under-17 boys have travelled to Zlatibor, Serbia, for a pre-season training camp as preparations continue for the new campaign.
The camp will give the young squad an opportunity to work together in a different environment while testing themselves against opposition from Serbia’s leading football structure.
Two fixtures against Serbian opposition
Hibernians are scheduled to face Mladost Lučani on Tuesday before taking on Partizan Belgrade on Thursday. Both opponents compete at Serbian SuperLiga level, providing the Maltese youngsters with a demanding test during their stay.
The overseas camp forms part of the academy’s pre-season programme and offers the players valuable experience ahead of the domestic season.
