The Veterans Malta Football Association has announced that for the 2024/25 season, eight teams will be participating in the VMFA Premier League.
These teams include Birkirkara St Helen’s, Floriana FC, Gżira United, Hibernians, Malta Football Players Association, Rabat, Żejtun Red Stars, and Żurrieq Wolves.
Floriana will make their debut in this association, while Luxol St Andrew’s has withdrawn. The season will commence with the David Cluett Cup, which is now in its third edition and will be played in mid-September.
The championship is scheduled to start in early October.
MFPA were the champions of last season, securing a treble by also winning the David Cluett Memorial Cup and the knock-out competition.
