Luqa St Andrew's announce Neville Galea as their coach for the upcoming season

Luqa St Andrew’s Neville Galea will be leading our senior team for the upcoming season The club announced the former Msida Head Coach’s appointment in a post on their FB page.

Neville Galea is a former Premier League player, who spent his playing career with Hamrun Spartans.

During this time, he was part of the squad that was crowned as First Division champions on two occasions, as well as a runner-up in the FA Trophy.

Galea’s first stint as a seniors coach came with Siggiewi. He then took up the role of assistant coach at San Gwann, as the squad was crowned with the Second Division title. The subsequent season, San Gwann placed 4th in the First Division.

His last 4 seasons were spent with Msida St. Joseph, where the squad reached the playoffs of the National Amateur League two successive times, followed by a successful push for promotion to the First Division on the third season.

Luqa augured Galea the best of luck for the upcoming season, which they wholeheartedly believe has the potential to be a truly memorable one for the club.
