Jesse Lingard, once one of the most talented football players of Manchester United, decided to turn to the Middle East.
After parting with Nottingham Forest, the former England representative did not have a club all summer, and now he has arrived at Al Fateh, where he will be on trial in the coming period.
Steven Gerrard arrived in Fateh a few months ago, taking Jordan Henderson with him, so he wants to add Lingard to the English colony.
“I have been watching him for a long time and I know how talented he is. Jesse is currently without a club, has no contract and can train wherever he wants. He came to train in our facilities, with our players, to keep fit. Jesse knows he has an opportunity to convince us to come to the club,” Gerrard told the PhilMar show.
