The tradition continues, and L'Equipe chose the ideal XI for the World Cup!

The 22nd FIFA World Cup has ended. Argentina is the new world champion, Messi is the best player, Mbappe is the best scorer, and both are in L’Equipe’s 11!

The French newspaper continues its long tradition even after the end of the World Cup in Qatar.

The best football players and national teams of the world gathered in Doha with the aim of raising the “Goddess” at the end of the tournament.

Messi finally saw his long-awaited dream come true, while Mbappe will not remember this World Cup fondly.

L’Equipe has chosen the ideal lineup for the tournament. Interestingly, Morocco, Croatia and the current champion Argentina have three players each, while the French newspaper selected only one player from the “Tricolor”, we all know who it is.

The ideal team looked like this: Livakovic (Croatia) – Hakimi (Morocco), Guardiol (Croatia), Romain Saiss (Morocco), Marcos Acuña (Argentina) – Enzo Fernandez (Argentina), Sofyan Amrabat (Morocco), Luka Modric (Croatia) – Bukayo Saka (England), Lionel Messi (Argentina), Kylian Mbappe (France).

In this classification, Mbappe was the best-rated player of the entire World Cup.

On the other hand, L’Equipe also chose the worst team of the tournament:

Hennessy (Wales) – Kielce (Poland), Kanaani (Iran), Khouki(Qatar), Carrasco (Belgium) – Skov Olsen (Denmark), Bielik (Poland), Zielinski (Poland) – Diatta (Senegal), Bale (Wales), Contreras (Costa Rica).
