Football club Leipzig fired coach Domenico Tedesco after the bad results of the German club since the beginning of the season.
As stated on the club’s website, in addition to Tedesco, his assistants Andreas Hinkel and Max Urwantschky were also fired.
In the first five rounds of the Bundesliga, Leipzig achieved only one victory.
“Only five points from the start of the season, with defeats against Eintracht and Shakhtar – we believe it’s time for a change to make a quick turnaround,” said the German club’s CEO Oliver Mintzlaff.
The Italian expert took over the club from the Bundesliga on December 9 last year, and with this club, he won fourth place in the Bundesliga and the German Cup last season, while he was eliminated in the Europa League semi-finals by Rangers.
