Leaders Ħamrun should find no difficulties to beat Sirens who are struggling and fighting against relegation this season. Meanwhile second place Floriana have a difficult task against Balzan who also need at least a point to stay clear from the bottom four.
Sliema and Marsaxlokk who are sitting in third and fourth place respectively will face each other in a direct encounter. Both teams will try to return to winning ways after a draw against Sirens and Mosta respectively in their last outings. Sliema may also be happy with a draw to remain 5 points clear of Marsaxlokk.
Birkirkara and Hibernians who are sitting in fifth and sixth place with 24 points will face each other in a match which for many fans is the match of the weekend. Hibernians needs to win this match and hope that Marsaxlokk who are 2 points above lose to Sliema to reach 4th place and try to survive this season and gain a place in Europe after being eliminated in the FA Trophy. Birkirkara also need to win for the same reason despite they are still in contention of the local Cup. Birkirkara have their morale high after beating Valletta in the dying moments last weekend while Hibernians need to get points after their loss against Floriana.
St.Lucia vs Naxxar is another difficult test for St.Lucia who are coming from a very surprising win against Balzan and have high hopes to survive, while Naxxar are struggling to get points lately after their losses against Gzira and Ħamrun and only managed a draw against Marsaxlokk.
Mosta vs Valletta is a direct encounter against relegation. Both teams need a win and hope that other results will come to their favour to get out from the last 4, especially Mosta who are in the danger zone and only 1 point behind Valletta.
Gzira vs Gudja should be an easy task for Gzira against last place Gudja. Gzira need a win and on paper they should get this win which will be a huge result especially after their narrow win against Naxxar last week.
