The president of Lazio, Claudio Lotito, rejected Newcastle’s offer for Sergej Milinković-Savić in the amount of 60 million euros.
Italian media reports that the English club sent an offer of 60 million plus certain bonuses, but the first man of Lazio flatly refused it, asking for 82 million.
Sergej has a contract with the Roman club until June 2024, and he has been wearing their jersey since 2015.
He previously played for Vojvodina, and then for Genk.
He made 316 appearances for Italian club and scored 63 goals.
