Lazio beat Roma in the Derby della Capitale (VIDEO)

In the Derby della Capitale, played within the 13th round of Serie A, Lazio as a guest was better than Roma – 1:0.

Although Sarri faced major personnel problems before this match, as he could not count on the two best players – Immobile and Milinković-Savić, the experienced expert tactically outwitted Mourinho.

The derby was not too exciting, and the fact that this is the first in which no more than one goal was scored after eight matches, speaks volumes for the tactical outmaneuvering of the coaches seen at the packed “Olympic”.

It took until the 30th minute for the first big excitement, also the goal. The defender of Roma, Ibanez, inexplicably started to dribble Pedro who stole the ball from him, passed to Felipe Andreson who scored routinely to give Lazio the lead.

Roma started after that goal, and just five minutes later Zaniolo hit the crossbar.

The “wolf” had the initiative on the field in the continuation of the match, but Lazio resisted without any problems.

Mourinho tried to reach the goal with changes, Roma “sneak” around the penalty area, but the defense of Lazio led by Romagnoli was an insurmountable obstacle for the attackers of the nominal host.

Due to numerous interruptions, the game was played until the 100th minute, but Lazio preserved a goal advantage worth three points.
