LAMPARD'S DISGUSTING RECORD: An unpleasant defeat, I have a feeling that everything is against us

Chelsea players lost 0:2 away to Brentford yesterday, and Frank Lampard suffered his fifth consecutive defeat on the London club’s bench.

Frank Lampard is the first manager in the history of the club who has tied five consecutive defeats since coming to the bench.

The fans from London were hoping that the negative streak could finally be broken when visiting Brentford, but the Blues continued to stumble.

Chelsea is currently in the 11th position of the Premier League with 39 points, so after a long time for the London club, the relegation zone is closer than the positions leading to Europe.

“This is an unpleasant defeat. I feel for the players, they lack confidence at the moment. We controlled the game in terms of possession. In the second half, we dominated, but they gave us a goal on the counterattack. At this point, I don’t want to come off as a whiner, but I have a feeling that everything is against us. That was clearly seen in this match. We have to believe in the next ones, which are not easy at all. Maybe it’s time to see some of the players who were on the field more often,” Frank Lampard said after another defeat.

In the remaining six matches, Chelsea have a difficult schedule where they will play against Arsenal, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle.

Four first-placed teams and two who are desperately fighting for survival, the question is how long Chelsea’s negative series will last, but it is certain that they will have a difficult schedule until the end of the championship.
