Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has completed a move to newly promoted LaLiga side Deportivo La Coruña, signing a contract until June 2028.
The 37-year-old Gabon international arrives from Olympique Marseille after registering 14 goals and 10 assists across all competitions last season.
Aubameyang brings extensive experience from spells with Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea, having established himself as one of Europe’s most prolific forwards during his career.
He scored 141 goals in 213 appearances for Dortmund before netting 92 times in 163 matches for Arsenal. He also enjoyed a productive spell at Barcelona after leaving the Premier League.
Deportivo believe Aubameyang’s experience and leadership can prove crucial as the club prepares for its return to Spain’s top flight.
The veteran striker will be expected to provide goals, guidance and a strong presence in the dressing room as Deportivo attempt to establish themselves in LaLiga following promotion.
His arrival represents a major statement by the Galician club and adds another high-profile name to the Spanish championship ahead of the new season.
