Kylian Mbappe reportedly signs Five-Year contract with Real Madrid

Reports have emerged suggesting that Kylian Mbappe has already committed to a five-year contract with Real Madrid, ahead of his much-anticipated move in the summer.

Despite Paris Saint-Germain’s efforts to retain the services of the French superstar, Mbappe seems set on departing the club after seven years, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season. Real Madrid, keen to avoid a protracted transfer saga, appear to have secured Mbappe’s signature well in advance.

While formal announcements are yet to be made by either club, sources indicate that Mbappe inked the deal with Real Madrid approximately two weeks ago, signaling his intent to join the La Liga leaders.

Financial terms have been a subject of speculation, with reports suggesting that while Mbappe may not receive the same terms he rejected two years ago, he is poised to become Real Madrid’s highest earner, with a significant signing-on fee rumored to be around £85.5 million.

It’s believed that PSG has been discouraged from making further attempts to keep Mbappe, influenced by the player’s entourage and his apparent decision to seek new challenges.

In recent on-field actions, Mbappe found himself on the substitutes’ bench for PSG’s Ligue 1 clash against Nantes. Despite this, he made a decisive impact after being introduced in the 62nd minute, scoring a crucial goal from the penalty spot to secure victory.

With 32 goals across all competitions in the 2023-24 season, Mbappe remains focused on delivering success for PSG, particularly in the Champions League, before his anticipated departure.

His recent performances, including a goal against Real Sociedad in the Champions League, highlight Mbappe’s unwavering commitment to PSG’s cause, even amidst ongoing transfer speculation.
