Kramaric: We can repeat the success from Russia

Croatian representative Andrej Kramaric is looking forward to his team’s first match and believes that they can repeat the success achieved at the World Cup in Russia when they finished second.

The striker from Hoffenheim made his debut for Croatia in major competitions at the 2016 European Championship, and then played at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, as well as at last year’s European Championship.

“We can repeat the result from Russia, but the most important thing is to pass the group,” said the Croatian striker.

Dalic said a few days ago that Kramaric has matured and is more focused on the position he plays.

“For sure, every player likes the support of the coach, it is a very important item in the relationship between coach and player. I’m motivating myself, I’m not burdened and I hope that we can look forward to good results later,” said the 31-year-old striker.

Kramaric added that he also expected more difficult weather conditions in Doha.

“We have adapted solidly, the wind knows how to blow. We are ready in our heads, weather and conditions will not be a problem. “Maybe we will catch a cold from the air-conditioned stadiums,” he said.

Croatia’s first match will be against the Moroccan national team on Wednesday at 11 a.m., and in addition to them, Belgium and Canada are also in Group F.
