Former Barcelona head coach will receive 10 million euros in severance pay.
After a series of bad results, Koeman was fired, and very soon he got a successor – Xavi Hernandez, and the saga is not over.
His contract expires in June 2022, and by then he was supposed to earn 12 million euros. They found a compromise, in the end, so he forgave the club for two million.
In addition to him, assistants Alfred Schreuder and Henrik Larsson will also receive severance pay.
