Liverpool defeated Leeds away with 1:6, and Reds coach Jürgen Klopp finally had a smile on his face and was satisfied with the game of his players.
Liverpool played really great at Elan Road and completely dismantled the home team Leeds. It is interesting that during the first 35 minutes of the match, Liverpool did not have a single shot at the opponent’s goal, and by the end they managed to score as many as six goals.
“I don’t know where to start. The whole match was great. It is true that we conceded a goal unnecessarily, but everything apart from that was complete control. We played pressing like we haven’t done in years, it was fantastic and this is what I want to watch. Our best game this season for sure,’ Klopp said after the match.
With this victory, the Reds moved closer to Newcastle, who are in fourth place, leading to the Champions League, on nine points, with eight rounds to go.
