Former England captain and manager Kevin Keegan has revealed that he is battling stage four cancer, opening up about his health struggle during a recent public appearance.
The 75-year-old football legend shared the news whilst speaking at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House in Newcastle, where he discussed his diagnosis and treatment with supporters. Despite the seriousness of the illness, Keegan displayed the humour and resilience that made him one of football’s most beloved personalities.
According to reports, Keegan joked with doctors after receiving the diagnosis, saying he had always wanted to reach the top level in football and had now apparently reached “stage four” in something else.
